Memories

I can't believe the girls are 19 months old. They are totally toddlers now. Sometimes I still call them babies and people correct me. Well they'll always be my babies. I just spent a couple of hours going through and reading all my old posts and looking at all the pictures. It is so fun. I would really recommend that people keep a blog. If anybody wants to just for kicks you can always look at my old posts by looking in the archives. It's amazing to look at the pics and watch the girls grow up. Taylor is talking up a storm now. She tries to say anything you say to her. She really likes to identify everybody in the room at least 100 times, "Mommy" "Yes, I'm Mommy," "Mamron" "Yes, that's Cameron." We go through that process many, many times every day. She also likes to make animal noises. Cameron's getting better at talking, but she's not near as interested as Taylor. Cameron's favorite thing is imitating a elephant. She's constantly holding 1 arm in the air and making a noise. They are so funny!!!!!

For Fathers Day I got Dustin and I tickets to a Rangers game. The girls stayed with our friends Kathy & Bobby. They had fun playing with Dominoes at their house. Posted by Picasa

I'm working a couple days a week at Hurricane Harbor. My friend Tati and I decided to take the girls there to play before the park was actually open. They love playing in the water. Posted by Picasa

The girls are crawling through a tunnel. Its funny b/c they loved this that day. The water wasn't turned on yet. Now whenever we go back, they think they like this tunnel. But when they go in and water is spraying them in the face they realize they hate it. I try to warn them. Posted by Picasa

Ups & Downs

Wow this past month has been crazy. I started looking for a teaching job for the fall and kept hitting brick walls. My grandfather was diagnosed with cancer. The girls and I decided to go home to Memphis to visit with him. It was great to see him and the rest of the family. Unfortunately the cancer really hit him hard and he went to be with God a little over a week ago. We went home for his funeral. That was very hard, but we are so happy that he is now at peace. The night of the funeral I checked my messages and I got a call from the principal that I interviewed with several weeks before. He told me that he would like to recommend me for a 1st grade position. Yeah! Its been a tough month. We all miss Papa so much and know that he is happy in Heaven. I hope that all of our readers are having a great summer.
