They are here!!!!

On Tuesday morning at 8:25 Cameron Nicole was born weighing 5 lbs 8 oz. and 19 1/2 in. Then at 8:26 Taylor Abigail was born weighing 5 lbs. 11 oz. and 18 in. Taylor went to the nursery and was doing great. Cameron had a little trouble breathing and spent most of Tuesday in the NICU. By 5:00 they brought her to my room. I lost a lot of blood and spent a long time in recovery after surgery. But once I got my feeling back and my temperture back to normal I was OK. Taylor has done a great job at nursing. Cameron is having a harder time catching on. On Friday, we got to all go home. It has been wild since then. I haven't slept much at all. Most of my sleep is in 30 min. incriments. Its hard! I have felt sick, b/c I am so tired. Dustin and my mom have helped a lot. They take turns getting up me. I have to get up every time to nurse. Taylor is going through a time where she wants to nurse all the time. I am working as much as I can to get her on a schedule. We are working on getting the pics posted on this site. Dustin had some trouble and put pics on a different site. You can go to www.checkthepoint.com/walkerbabies I will try to keep updating. We are finally getting internet at home next week sometime and we are getting a digital camera from Dustin's sister Kerry for Christmas. Thanks Kerry, Kane, & Emma!!!! Well I'll talk to y'all later.

It's soon

Well we only have 4 days till we'll have babies. I can't believe it. My mom is here and Dustin's mom gets here Sat. night. We are really excited. Today we went to the police dept. to make sure we put the car seats in correctly. We are trying to tie up any loose ends. Mom and I washed the receiving blankets and burp cloths the other day. Well check back here around Thanksgiving and we hope to have pictures of the girls on this site.

We have a date!

O.k. so today we went to have another non-stress test and everything looked great. Then we went to a Dr.'s appt. He said that both babies are flipped the wrong way. He said Christmas would have ot come early for them to flip. He said our options were c-section or c-section. So we scheduled a c-section for Tuesday, November 23rd. I will be 37 weeks that day. Now of course I could still go into labor before then but if I don't that's the day. It is really weird to pick your kids birthday. We picked the 23rd because it was the 1st available day. We are both so excited it's crazy. My mom gets here this coming Tuesday so she should be here for everything. She's real excited about that. To bad though b/c I don't think they are going to let her come into the operating room with us. They said there are going to be so many Dr.'s and nurses there that the room will be packed. So in less than 2 weeks we are going to have babies!!

34 weeks

I am 34 weeks now! I am happy that I've made it this far. For the babies' sakes I hope that I can make it as far as they need. BUT I am ready!!!!!!!!!!! I never wanted to be that person that says I don't want to be pregnant anymore, but it's time. I am sure that I don't have any more room in my belly for them to grow. I have an internal bruise right at the bottom of my rib cage. I can only assume that its from the babies pushing on my ribs. I had a non-stress test this past Thursday and everything still seems to look great. My blood pressure was low and they took it at least 4 or 5 times. Then the doctor said well maybe if you sit up it will be good and wouldn't youknow it when I sat up it raised about 20 points. I'm sure it's not called points but I don't know what to call it. Anyways I guess the babies were laying on something that made my blood pressure higher. I don't know?????? I am so excited about having the babies!! Every time I go to the hospital to have that test done we go over to the nursery to look at all the new babies. Usually there aren't that many, but this past Thursday there were 13 babies. They were so cute!!! I can't believe that probably within a couple of weeks we'll have 2 little babies in there. My mom gets here on Nov. 16th. She really hopes that she'll be here when I deliver and i hope so too!!!! So once she gets here I am going to go walking like everyday. Maybe that will help me to go into labor. Well I'll talk to y'all later!!!!!

They're getting big!!!

I had a Dr.'s appt. this past Monday and an ultrasound. The girls are really growing. One weighs 4 lbs. 8 oz. and the other weighs 5lbs. 4 oz. We are so excited that they have gotten so big. As of today, Tuesday, I am 33 weeks pregnant and we are hoping I can make it 3 more weeks. Then I will be 36 weeks pregnant, which is basically full term for twins. Baby A, which we think is going to be Cameron is still breech. The Dr. said that she is actually butt first. So if she stays that way and doesn't flip around I will have a c-section. I am coming to terms with it, because I am just so excited to have them. Last Friday Dustin and I toured the maternity/ labor and delivery part of the hospital. We got to see some of the babies hanging out in the nursery. They are so sweet. I asked Dustin if it made it more real and he said yeh. He said he realizes that he is going to cry a lot. Me too!!!!!!!!!! Please continue to pray for everything to go great. God has really blessed us with a good pregnancy.

31 Weeks

I can't believe on Tuesday I'll be 8 months pregnant. I had a Dr. appt. this past Wednesday. The coolest thing that happened is the Dr. let Dustin find the babies heartbeats. They both still have strong heartbeats and seem to be doing well. This week I will start going every Friday to the hospital to have non-stress tests. As far as I understand that means they'll be measuring the movements of both babies. Well tonight Dustin and I are having our date night. I need to go home and get ready. It's getter harder to look cute when your wearing the same maternity clothes over and over again. Also most of my clothes are either to tight or big and baggy. I can't wait to wear regular clothes again.

Dr.'s Appt.

Today we had an ultrasound. We got to see both the girls and they are doing great. One weighs 2 lbs. 13 oz. and the other weighs 2 lbs. 14 oz. The nurse said those are good weights for 29 weeks. Tomorrow I will be 29 weeks. We also found out that the baby that is lower down is breech. That means I might have to automatically have a c-section unless she flips. Please pray that she will flip around. I really want to have these girls regularly. I realized today though that I need to start being OK with the idea of a c-section. I started to cry when the nurse walked out. Well I have new pics from the ultrasound but the computer that has the scanner and the program to put the pics on the blog is messed up. For some reason it just keeps getting all these viruses and we can't clean it up for good. So that means no pics until we get that problem solved. I probably only have about 7 more weeks of pregnancy. I can't believe it.

Sorry

Hey guys sorry that its been so long since an update. We don't have a computer at home anymore so I don't get internet access very often. I have some pictures to put up but the program I use to pust them up is messed up. Hopefully I'll get it figured out eventually. I am 7 months pregnant now and I am so excited that it might be soon. We decorated the nursery and it is so cute. We still need a couple of things, but I'm sure that we'll get them. Everything seems to be going so great. Please keep praying for Cameron and Taylor. I'll try to update again soon.

Everything's Going Good

Not much news, I had an ultraound and they said the babies look good. During the ultrasound before this one they couldn't see all the babies hearts. So thats what they focused on this trip and the Dr. said it all looked good. I also went this went for them to do tests to see if I have gestational diabetes. So please pray that those tests will come back with good news. Today Rutgers has their first home football game and we are having a tailgate party. The game is going to be on TV so look for us!!! I have some new pictures to post but I keep forgetting to bring them up to the office. Bye for now!

Baby Names

I forgot to let y'all know that we definitely have both names picked out. The girls names will be Cameron Nicole and Taylor Abigail. I hope that y'all love these names as much as we do. Well my belly is bigger and the babies are moving a lot. I am back in New Jersey and I have a Dr.'s appointment on Monday. They're going to do another ultrasound. I am excited as always to see them moving around again. Pray that all goes well.

They're Moving!!

The babies have been moving now for about 2 weeks. I haven't been able to update the blog b/c we don't have a computer at homw anymore. That's temporary, but until it's back at home I have limited times to get on the internet. It is so cool to feel them and each day I can feel them a little more. The baby on one side is much more active than the baby on the other side. The doctor said different personalities. Anyways its cool now because other people can feel them too!! That is so exciting. We've had 2 showers and gotten lots of adorable outfits, bibs, and blankets. We still need a few things but I think for the most part we're doing pretty good. Well I'll keep y'all updated.

Baby B 21 weeks- It's a girl too! Posted by Hello

Baby A 21 weeks - It's a girl! Posted by Hello

We're Having.....

Well we went and had an ultrasound today. We found out that we're having 2 girls. I was blown away. I was just sure that we had at least one boy, but I was wrong. 2 girls I can't believe it. It's gonna be crazy but, we are excited. Now I get to go back to the baby stores and pick out girl stuff. That's gonna be fun. I guess we'll be seeing a lot of pinks & purples. I think I am gonna lean towards more of the purple stuff. Well we are excited to tell the world. We have 2 girl names picked out but until we are 100% I am gonna keep one of them a secret. Dustin and I need a chance to make sure that we're 100%. One of the names I am sure about is Cameron Nicole Walker. One weighs 14 oz. and the other is 15 oz. Everything looks good, the doctor couldn't really see the details of the heart so she wants me to come back for another ultrasound. Both of the babies have strong heartbeats. We got to see the feet and hands and everything looks normal. I will be 21 weeks tomorrow. So I am 5 months and 1 week. Well hopefully everybody is excited to hear the news.
